Kawasaki have decided to give the new 2009 kawasaki ninja zx6r a facelift. Noticeable changes have been made to the sleek looking bodywork the headlight units resemble the shape of the R1’s. Noticeably kawasaki have decided to stay with the conventional stubby silencer rather than the underseat units of the 2008 kawasaki ninja zx6r model.  What’s your thoughts good move or bad move?

Its fair to say that the new 2009 kawasaki ninja zx6r now closely mimics its big brother the kawasaki zx10r. One excellent addition I like and feel is long overdue is the inclusion of a ohlins steering damper this is a class move. The ninja 250r is a lightweight and very agile machine making it an ideal solution for both town travelling and country lane blasts. The engine is the strong trusty and reliable twin cylinder 4 stroke unit of 249cc, which revs effortlessly to around 14,000 revs red line. The low seat height, comfortable riding position and easy to operate controls will make it a firm favourite with all levels of motorcyclist. The suspension is very adequate to deal with the majority of road surfaces. The ninja 250r is assured good stopping power by the use of twin piston calipers running on petal discs for efficient heat dissipation. The use of 17 inch wheels further enhances the positive handling characteristics of this agile sporty model. The body work replicates the sporting image of all kawasaki ninja motorcycles. The fairing is sleek and aerodynamic, the tank is narrow and sculpted and the exhausts are sportingly up swept.
